Tips for Managing your Diabetes

Good Control is Essential

The following graph demonstrates how continued poor blood sugar control in people with type 2 diabetes may increase the risk of developing eye and kidney damage. As HbA1c rises above 7%, the risk for these complications rises dramatically. Long-term blood sugar control in people with type 2 diabetes may reduce the risk of these problems.
