Some complications, like kidney problems, demand cessation of exercise due to dietary protein deficiency. Eye problems can do the same. A personal trainer who is educated can be a real help, as also a sports doctor.

Don is still here. He goes home Thursday. He is out right now puttying, caulking and painting all of our windows. He is one of those guys that just can't sit still. Jodi tried to tell him that he surely didn't come all that way just to work and his response was "I'm not working I'm just putzing". We have sure had a great time reliving 40 years of friendship. We met Greg and his family at Greenleaf Lake Saturday and Don had a great time getting reacquainted with Greg. Afterward he said "Herb, I can't believe it, he is you 25 years ago. He looks just like you did, he talks just like you did, and he thinks just like you did". I took that as a compliment. Yesterday we went out to the rifle range and sighted in Kevin's black;owder rifle so I can use it during blackpowder deer season which opens the 27th of this month. I gave Don 3 pair of my boots that I will never need again. A pair of Justin full skin lizard, A pair of Redwing lace up hunting boots with a Vibram sole, and a pair of Redwing Ropers. Blood sugar was 211 this morning. It was 71 at bedtime last night and I ate some leftover white dinner rolls (The whole wheat ones that I usually eat were all gone) to help hold my BS up during the night and I over did it. Other than that my BS has been great in recent days. Next Sunday afternoon we go back to Greenleaf. They have a handicapp equipped cabin that they rent real reasonable and we have it rented for that week. Greg and his family are going to join us. He will drive back in to Tulsa to work every day since it is only 35 miles. Gordo: since I can't reach you on E-mail I'll extend the invitation to you here to drive over and visit with us any day that you might choose to. Sunday through Thursday would probably be the best for us. Greg's mother in law has her 80th birthday the latter part of that week and we are not sure whether she is going to join us at the lake or if we will drive into Tulsa for a birthday celebration with her.
