If any of you have Norton anti-virus, you can go to www.symantec.com and download the virus fix for the w32sircam worm. It's free & easy to use. That info was sent by a person who used to post on here & I am grateful. It helped.

To all of you that received a worm from my address book, I am indeed sorry and didn't know it was happening until I started getting returned mail that I had never sent. I now have no address book and am still struggling to get operating again. My Norton Antivirus 2000 was not updated on virus protection so I am at fault. I was out of town the week that it happened. I have since made it a practice to delete all e-mail with attachments and immediately dump my waste basket. As soon as I found out that the worm was being sent to my addressbook, I chased it down bot couldn't clean it up with an updated Norton. I then deleted the file and put my computer out of commission. I couldn't print a digital photo, use my word for windows or numerous other things that required that file (Scam32.exe was infected with W32.Sircam.worm@mm virus. This worm filled up my OUTLOOK.PST file with 311,328,768 mb of information leaving me with 1,135.23mb free. Had I updated my virus protection on a daily basis, maybe it wouldn't have happened. This is different from the one that Fara is blamed for. Hers works much the same way. I had over 100 returned or answered e-mails regarding that virus just today. My computer went to the shop on Tuesday after being inoperative since last Friday night. That was the day I returned from a week in Kansas. I can't even use my printer because I bought it in July 1993 which was three computers ago and the software for it won't work. Gordo

Good evening everyone. It looks like it was a slow day here. Not many posts. Welcome Bea!!! Herb, sounds like you are really enjoying your friend. Good for the mind and Blood Sugars!!!Thank your wife for me Jim. The cutting out part isn't half as bad as the pinning of the pattern!!Does your wife sew?? Have been gone all day. Got a phone call this morning from a hospital in Westfield Mass. that my husbands brother had had a heart attack yesterday. We went to see him today. He had been to the Eastern States Expo and ws headed home when he started to have chest pains. He got off the interstate and stopped at a Friendlys resturant and took a nitro but it didn't help, so he had someone call 911 for him. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He didn't want to disturb us last night so had the nurse call us this morning. He is doing good and will let us know what the dr said when he came in to see him tonight. We couldn't stay to talk to him as we had a 3 hour drive home and it was raining and foggy. Will go back down Sunday to see him unless things change. He is also diabetic. He hasn't accepted that very well and has not taken care of himself at all. He is single so doesn't have anyone to watch out for him. I learned one thing on the trip home. The night driving I don't think I am going to be able to do. Between the rain and the oncoming headlights, I couldn't see very good. It really bothered me and I have such a headache now. I think it was from the strain of watching where hubby was driving and the speed ometer. I hate g;oing fast!!!!!Well everyone have a good night and will chat tomorrow. Faye fara

Boy I've had a good time yesterday and today. Don Powell a friend of mine that I have known for 40 years is here visiting from Washington State. He flew in and we picked him up in OKC yesterday afternoon. He and I have shared campfires and cups of camp coffee in every mountainous state west of the Mississippi. We have watched a Brittany Spaniel work a covey of quail. We have fished the Glover, the Mountain Fork, the Buffalo, and the Illinois together. We have watched each others children grow up and our grand kids be born. Tomorow we are going up to Greenleaf Lake where our oldest son and his family are going to be camped out so Don and Greg can get reacquainted. Greg joined Don and I on several deer hunting trips in the Black Mesa country where Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Colorado all join. We have told stories, shared old experiences and even told a few lies today. He is going to be here until next Thursday so I imagine we will get to share a lot more. If you don't hear much from me in the next few days just picture me sitting on a log with a tin cup of boiled coffee in my hand either telling or listening to a tall story. He is a type II diabetic as well so I don't think that controlling our BS is going to be a major problem. I'm already planning the next hunting trip. October 27th is the opening day of our blackpowder deer season. I picked up Kevins blackpowder rifle when I was in the city yesterday and plan to make an outing during the season. Herb (Bear)

Good morning everyone. Beatrice- You may be able to find what you need at the American Diabetes Association Website, or just search the web for "free glucose testers". Hope that helps. Fara- My wife said that if you need something cut out she would be happy to help. Just email me and I will forward it to her. Probably wouldn't cost that must to send it to her. Just a thought. Good to be back after a few days off to take care of some things. Have a good day everyone. Jim
