It
has been a beautiful day here in NH today. Getting ready for tomorrow when more
snow is suppose to arrive. My two daughters took me out to breakfast this
morning. I was glad to get out of the house for awhile. Was very tired when I
got home so I layed down for awhile. Marc--I called life scan today and they are
going to send me a new monitor. They didn't really think I needed one but when I
told them I was uncomfortable using and trusting the one I have, they decided to
send me a new one. Have a great evening everyone. Faye

Hi! I will ask at
my pump club meeting on the 15th of March if any one is having problems with the
reconnection of the infusion. I think my trainer will like to hear about all of
this because she put in a special call to mimimed and they reported nothing was
wrong. The sun is out today and calling for rain/light snow tonight so I will
get out today and enjoy the sun. Take care, love & Luck, Misty

Faith... no problem. Someone had to be the grown-up in this relationship. No

Sam, I never take
my pump off that much, even though I usually don't change out except every 6-7
days. I hang it over the side of the tub when I take a bath, and take it off to
shower. This one that malfunctioned, I had just put it on. I then decided to
take a shower, and then couldn't reconnect. I'm anxious to see what MiniMed says
after they get the package. Misty, thanks for the kind words. I am remembering
some wonderful times with my former boss. He is a wonderful man! Always teasing
and laughing. I will miss him so! Sorry I spoiled your fun Marc! FAITHIE!!!!

How high is to high? What medications are you on? How have you deviated from
your norms recently? Give us all the info you can and I'm sure you will be
flooded with suggestions. Herb (Bear)

Faith...I have had
2 sof-sets malfunction, by not re-connecting again. Minimed told me we have 10
times to disconnect, said to do it once when I change my set...then I have 9
left, for 3 days, and I don't take THAT many showers. Saves not knowing,
especially when you are travelling. They had to send me some extra once, and
they are always good for that.

I am sure you know this, but you can just call them and tell them you think your
getting bad readings and they will send you another one free. usually with a
return box for you to send them your old one. I do that every once in a while to
be sure I have a good meter. You might as well with the bucks they get for test
strips. I like the discription of your day. Sounds nice. I have only been to the
snow once, just locally for skiing. But I must say ( Scott don't call me to yell
at me for this) that we finally stopped raining and I am taking a client golfing
tomorrow. It's been a while since we have seen the sun on the West Coast,
although it's nothing compared to what I have seen on TV. How do you people
drive in all that snow? A little irony with me, since I decided I would try the
pump again, I have had all my readings run 80-120 for 4 days on shots. Hey
Faith, regarding your e-mail to me, it's no fun teasing you if you actually
don't mind! I thought I had something there, oh well, I will just keep
looking!Take it easy everyone and Vinny, it's in the mail..... Marc...

Good morning and it is a beautiful sunny morning here. The snow is sparkling
like diamonds. My fasting this morning was 60. Did not have any symptons of
being low. I am beginning to think that maybe my One Touch needs to be replaced.
Have a good day. Faye

Hi to all! Faith, I
hope you are ok about your news, it is very stressful to hear such things. I
believe it is because we really want to be able to help the people we love and
we can't. Try to put the good times in you mind. Take care. Faye, you really got
hit hard from the storm, it passed us and I am glad it did. Sounds like your
doing good on the bs and keep up the great work! Hi to Herb and John, hope you
are doing well. Later, Misty
