Spent the day at the local lake. Watching my nephew learning to ski. . . Don't

work out a little again. I did when I was in my early twenties. A long time ago.
That's when I tore the rotary in my right arm. But, if I watch it closely I
should be able to do a little with it without further injury. What I'm really
looking at it the stationary bike they have. It's peddles aren't directly under
the seat, but out to the front. With the tears in my knee, I can't bend it
enough to peddle a standard bike, so I thought I'd give the machine a try. Hope
to gain more mobility and someday be able to get back on my street bike. We'll
see. When I start working out in the gym, what are the rules for us? I mean, eat
? hours before hand, check BS when? Things like that. I'm not going to push for
a hard workout right off the bat, but still I was wondering what to expect, if
anything, and what I should watch for... FAYE!!!! Come back!!!! You gotta help
me find out more about the Mystery Jelly Beans floating around here!!! If you
stopped in after most of the posts had been taken off the page, I can understand

mentioned before,I have lost family members to terrible and fatal
illnesses(watched them suffer,couldn't help them)-a cousin died of AIDS,my
father died of heart disease. It's even worse with prolonged illness-my
grandfather,a Cantor,had a stroke-12 years of near-mute before he died. My
family also had close calls:my sister nearly died of toxic reaction to some
anti-biotic in hospital..I do thank God that she's ok. Your friendship and true
support and sympathy has been esp meaningful to me when I had rough times due to
my diabetes. Faith,hope your dental work will be ok. I'm sorry if I said
anything too harsh last night: Working many (uneven) hours in the projection
booth has it's own form of stress:I cope best as I can. Sometimes after a hard
day's work,and problems with diabetes and sugars,my nerves get a little sharp.

care....Take as much care as you can. Now that I have had a transplant, they no
longer want to do dental work. Before my transplant they advised me to get as
much dental work done as needed but afterwards they really want to do as little
as possible. I need to go on antibiotics just for a check up. The meds I am on
cause gums to grow down the teeth. Soooo, we never know what is next, take care
of the mouth! Faith, glad the healing is going well. Toad, glad to see you post

you. Some times it is better one on one then to try to go a round with the AP's.

Jodi and I went to OKC yesterday to see all the kids and to go to my ACT
meeting. (Amputees Conquering Tommorow) Becky wanted to have dinner just with me

is the fatal version of Masto. With everybody here for Father's Day and having a
good time she could not bear to tell the truth and spoil everybody's weekend.
She wants me to tell her Mother. I just don't know how Jodi will take it when I
tell her that she has 2 daughters with a fatal disease. She is well aware of the
hereditary characteristics of the disease and how it moves from Mother to child.
She is already beating herself up terribly bad about Beth having it. But, to be
told that she has 2 daughters with it I just don't know how she will react. Now,
I've said it. I don't want sympathy or pity I just needed to get it off my
chest. The day that Becky came home from the hospital after being born she was
real fussy and Jodi was extremely tired. I sat in the recliner and held Becky
all night. I guess we sort of bonded. She has always come to me to fix things,
anything from a broken doll to a broken heart. It's very obvious that I am
special to her. And now this and I can not do anything to fix it. Herb (Bear)

knees cause pain-esp lifting films..I have some other diabetic

A pocket had formed and was destroying the bone. The infection that was always
there, may have been causing some of my troubles with the diabetes. Who knows???

having..results:due to my spine being fused at my neck,they couldn't get a clear
reading. So,a doctor gave me a diagnoses of "Accoustical Tumor(Neroma)(Sp) -He
didn't know if it much more,said that an option was an operation. not that
simple:fused spine/nerve endings might(acc to a big specialist in Toronto) mean
a stroke. So,I have left it alone. Having been under the brilliant care of a
distinguished Ear/Nose/Throat specialist for a long time,his view is probably
not a tumor-spine is fused. Still,no one knows for sure. I accept this
reluctantly. well,that's all:I'm going to watch Star Trek:Next Generation on TV.

by some sort of bug,in the hotel in Ottawa when I was on vacation. This (I

feeling better,thanks,but my after three major infections(incl two prostate
infections plus celulitus infection,my nerves are tense. I have other
