John a/b lived Florida as a college student until very recently when he moved up
the east coast and went into the real estate business. As far as your other
comments go I will respond but this well be the last time. As for as my
condition not being as bad as other lets review: I have DM which has produced
the following. I have lost my right leg due to Diabetic Neurothapy and poor
circulation and am very close to losing the left one. I am nearly blind due to
Diabetic Retinopathy. I have 20/600 sight in my right eye and 20/400 in my left
eye. With my last laser surgery the dr. thought that this would be correctible
to 20/60 and 20/40 but this has not worked out. I wear special glasses to be
able to see the computer screen and another pair (quad focals) for everything
else. I have less than 40% of my heart function left. This coupled with my
arthritis limits the use of my arms and shoulders to where I can only roll the
wheelchair for very short distances which has caused the insurance company to
approve an electric wheelchair for me that I am supposed to receive this week.
When we go to the doctors and have to park in a parking garage, go down in an
elevator and through extensive underground tunnels before coming up in the dr.
bldg. it is all that Jodi can do to push me that distance, she is 63 and has
arthritis. The doctors told me 2 yrs. ago last Novembe that I had 2 years, 3 at
the absolute maximum live. We have lost a grand son to a very rare bone marrow
disease that is highly hereditary and now we have 2 daughters diagnosed with it.
Despite all of this I never said that I was worse off than any body else. I just
used the board to share my triumphs and my defeats, and to vent. I don't know
who or what gives you the right to choose what some one else can or can not do
on this board. But, I will say to you that I have just gone back in the posts
and made a list of all the people that have the courage to post with out having
to hide behind a mask of anonymity. These are the only people whose opinions
carry any weight with me. If just one of them comes forward and asks me to stop
posting I will be moe than glad to do so immediately. Outside of this happening
take a hike buster because you are so insignificant that I can't even hear you.

had a ruff week end with the Storm that passed through our town. We even made
the CNN news. Many people got flooded out and a lagre apartment building fell
down from fire and water. People ;ost theur lives and still some missing. My
sister and her family had to stay over night because of so many roads closing
and the turnpike was shut down. I feel so lucky that we are all ok. Over 8

A close friend let me know he lost his wife. I received a e-mail this morning
whereby Gordon told me that he lost his wife on June 15 after being together for

FAITHIE: It would scare me to death if mine ever got that high. Althugh I am
sure that there were periods when I did not take this disease seiously and was
not monitoring that mine was in all liklihood that high or higher. Mine has
probably been over 300 2-3 times in the last 2 years. I get upset if something
goes wrong and it goes over 200. (Twice in the last 2 weeks) The tiredness you
are experiencing is the way I always feel when my BS gets high. I don't

make me very happy. My doctor told me to bolus in (pump) if BG was over 150. The
low number would be heaven to me. Of course, we are all different. I "really"
had a hight this morning, 501! I know exactly why too. We were invited over to a
couple's house from our church, and she is a wonderful cook. I just ate too
much! I should have stopped at one serving. Right now, I'm so tired I can hardly
keep my eyes open. Oh well, live and learn. Ya'll take care!
