You know if you bunch of jerks would stop the crap that is going on here, more people might post. Sorry to be so long in telling you how to get it.--I want to let my friends know how I am doing with my WW food program. Last night at the meeting, I lost anothe 4.8pounds for a total of 16 since joining and 26 since starting it in January. Pretty good I think. Just just made some Ice Cream Sandwiches for my snacks in the evening. You take 2 chocolate graham cracker squares, cover one with 2 TBSP. Fat Free Cool Whip and cover with the other cracker, then freeze. Yummy!!!!!!

I have to assume you hit it over stupidity like eating organic, lots of greens, wheatgrass juice, goat milk products for the lactose intolerant, health benefits of salmon, whole grain breads, getting fat measurements before weight loss, etc. I forgot enzymes to treat stomach distress! More stupidity? Is all this stupidity? Sounds like health is contraindicated to diabetics!!!!!

What is this, national pump horror week? I have been testing every 2 hours at night. 12-2-4, then 1-3-5. I can't find a pattern, although the end result is a 200 plus by morning. I am running at 100 or less sometime thru the night so I don't know if I go low then high or just go high. So I am like the rest of you , hands in the air with the " i just don't get it" look on my face, although I am not too sure that look is just from the pump! A perfect world this aint. Kings are gone, but GO LAKERS!.... Marc

Good morning, sorry for such a ruff cut off yesterday, my computer shut down for some strange reason. ...CB, I am having trouble getting the ULTRA test strips from insurance supplier. They say it is too new for them to carry, I will be working on that today but means I will have to get new perscriptions from my DOC....Sam, I sure hope you are feeling better as the day goes on. My bs ran low all day yesterday at 35 to 60 and I have no reason for it. I did go to a temp. basil rate at dinner..... Jim, thanks for the wishes. Faith, I have to set my early morning basal rate for three hours from .5 to .7 to cover my bs going up.I adjusted it 01 at a time and let it run 3-5 days and raised it 01 again until I leveled out. good luck. I hope everyone can find some thing to smile about today! Love & Luck, Misty

Sam, boy, can I ever relate. I can be sailing along just fine, and pow, woke up two times this week w/a BG over 350. Yesterday just fine, this morning 250. Marc, I got up and checked at around 3AM and everything was fine, I had a 112, then just a couple of hours later, and it's over 350 or 250. I guess I need to change my basal rates some for the night. But, I know what will happen, I'll start with the lows at night again. Just as Sam said, this disease is SUCH fun!! NOT!

Woke up in DKA...Been there before, sugar was 389, changed infusion set, took insulin, drank plenty of water! I am afraid of the local Hospital, as I had surgery there & was on general anesthetic, on an insulin pump, and no one checked my sugar. I had to do everything, so I will now too. Sugar is 57, feel nothing. This disease is SUCH fun! Sometimes life is too scary! Just commenting, others on the pump can relate..

Dear Zero,....thank you for your demonstration of stupidity. Figures like your language, you are not very good at. Let me help you out. (I wish I could get you out all the way.) You see a person born in 1930 would be 10 in 1940 when the war started with us. You think you can follow that??? So when the war finished in 1945 I was 15. Get that????? I was young, true but the two friends executed by your NAZIES were 16 and 18. You are acting very much like the NAZIES on here only they were way smarter than you. This is the last time I try to make sense out of you and will leave you in your disturbed mind. Sorry you don't want to be helped with your mental disease. JOHN.

Mark.. meant to answer this in my other post. Minimed has a blood sugar device that talks to the pump via an infrared light. I don't think it is at market yet, he may be a trial case. If I understand it correctly they are trying to get the machines to "talk" via infrared and the pump adjust accordingly, at least that is where they will eventually go with the technology, but so far I do think it still is at the testing level. Hope that helps, Minimed has the info on the website.... www.minimed.com.... Marc
