I went to Dr Wong's site, I think a person should be very careful before taking anything that someone claims is a cure all.Because it usually isn't. And how do you know what is really in a product that you order off the net, can you trust them about what they say is in it and that it works. When they say it's natural that doesn't mean it will mix with your other meds. I have learned this the hard way.

I remember Herb, he always had something interesting to say, and funny stories, I'm not sure but I think he went blind. Last time he wrote he said he had special glasses made and he had to sit a couple inches from the screen to see anything. I miss his writings and some of the others that used to be on here. Hope everyone else is doing fine.

I wanted to know if any Type 1 diabetics had had any success with taking Vitalzym? What do people think about Dr Wong and his claims?

Squats: Just a quick question for you...my son is weight training as part of his off season soccer conditioning. His weight bench does not allow for leg workouts - - will a rowing machine be useful in building leg strength?

I've been diabetic for about 28 years. I have neuropathy in my big toes and feet, it makes it hard to walk for very long or anything.

Dear Granny: I guess I should consider myself fortunate-I have very little neuropathy after 50 years of diabetes. No serious healing problems either. I hope Pete gets his disability, Squats

Fibromyalgia is very painful and certainly can affect bloodsugars. They can go up OR they can go down with stress. Certainly medication can throw things off as well. You need to see our doctor about controlling the fibro while managing your blood sugars. Also read up on fibro so you know what you are dealing with. Knowledge reduces fear and fibro really flares when you are stressed. On carbs, food in the U.S. are required to list the nutrient values on the packages and there are lots of places you can look up the carb values of fruits and vegetables etc. Your doctor can tell you how many carbs you should have per day which will be based on your weight as well as your bloodsugar control. It can be a bother writing down every bite of carbs but it can also reduce your A1c considerably to control the carbs. report on Pete - he finally got his Disability hearing. Now he waits for the judge to follow thru and submit the paperwork. This judge has been known to grant approval then sit on the papers for months. Meanwhile Pete's A1c was down to 6 for the first time ever! He also has fibro, and is developing some early neuropathy symptoms after 20 years of diabetes. He weighs the same he did in high school, has trouble keeping weight on.

Dear (), If you are on medication for your fibromyalgia, that might be causing it. You will have to ask your pharmacist. Also, a condition that causes stress in the body can force blood sugars up. Check with the doctor.

I'm having a lot of problems with high blood sugar. I also have fibromyalgia and have been in a big flare up, can this cause the sugars to go up?
