carnation instant breakfast comes sugar
free and has all your vitamins in it, it's great when you don't have time for
breakfast but you still have to have a mid morning snack, but it will get you
out the door in the mornings.

When it comes to diet programs,
the zone is also rated highly. If the 30% fat calories include fish oil/flaxseed
oil, this can help heart health.

and what that 115 means. If you are in the u.s. anything from 80-120 is
entirely NORMAL. If you are living here in the u.s. you might want to not go
back to this doctor until you get a second opinion from another doctor. If you
are not then you need to tell us where you are so someone can help you figure
this out.

with her next week. Can anyone tell me what that number means? thank you.

I have been a
diebetic for about 13 years and have been on insulin for about 8 months. I am
not working and have no insurance and if it wasnt for some patient assistance I
wouldnt be able to do what I am doing with my medicine and insulin. I dont mean
to be stingy but does anyone know of where I might be able to get some help with
buying the strips and needles, as with not much money it is hard. The only
income that we have is my husbands and with no children I dont qualify for Maine
Care. If anyone knows of anything please let me know as I am still searching.

On the today show this morning they
ranked 6 top diets and weight watchers was number 1. They have the most balance
but you have to have patience with it because the weight comes off slow. Number
2 was slim fast and last place was the atkins diet. It was interesting.

COUNT THE CARBS. Sugar happens to be very high in carbs
but it isn't inherantly evil. Potatos and breads are also carb foods and don't
forget the fastest actign carb - orange juice. So if you choose to use something
like Instant Breakfast you have to read the label and know how many carbs per
serving and what a serving is! And realize carbs need to be balanced with
proteins. Whether or not the protein of the milk would suffice I don't know.

Dear Mandy, if you go to
prolab.com, you can get the full info on the product. Generally speaking, Prolab
products are sold in healthfood/vitamin stores. Prolab is geared toward the
athlete/bodybuilder, but its products are usable in smaller quantities. Because
of my hard lifting, I use full servings. Squats Note: Please check with your
doc/CDE as to how to work it into to your regimen. Usually, they will recommend
Glucerna or Choice, neither of which is much better than Slimfast.

Thanks
Squats. :) Where would I get this from?
On Sat May 7 22:48:13 2005 Squats () said:
Dear Mandy: If "slightly
overweight" is according to the body mass index, please bear in mind that it is
not 100% accurate. Consider getting you body fat percentage measured; that will
give you a much better idea of where to go. Diabetes and Slimfast: The product
is too high in sugar and too low in protein to be usable. Prolab produces a Lean
Body Matrix ready to drink that isw much better. That can be used the same way
as Slimfast, but is better for one's health.

information) said:
If you are using a Hotmail or a Yahoo email account then
your identity is secure, a person can find only the personal information you
agree to post on their sites in your profile. You will get better information
usually in personal replies from the folks here so don't use a fake hotmail or
yahoo email! When we write to you and you have given a fake email then we can
only conclude you aren't really serious about getting information!

these meal drinks. What do you think?

Clay: Obviously, you are eating
less on the WW program. This with increased exercise, lower blood sugar readings
will follow. If I were you, I would see a dietition knowledgable in sports
nutrition. Also, consider taking 4-5 grams of glutamine 2x per day/ Definitely
see your doc about adjusting medication.

I have fibro, I don't think there is a
connection between it and the diabetes. If your imnune system is compremised
though that can bring on the fibro. Fibro can be very painful and what's good
for the fibro isn't good for the diabetes and vise verse. So it gets to be a war
bewteen the dieases.

you are right and the 2400 is absolute minimum and actually the care
givers have decided against counting calories anyway for someone not overweight.
You will remember Pete - he went to his 10 year highschool reunion weighing the
same as he did the day he graduated so calories are not an issue. Counting carbs
is the big deal this year and they write down every bite that passes his lips.
Activity levels vary day to day in farming and he has learned that when he is
hungry he should eat! Levels are still out of control bouncing 39- over 400 for
no good cause and testing 8 times per day BUT finally A1c is down in the 7s for
the first time ever. So I guess it is all paying off.
On Mon May 2 17:54:54 2005 Squats () said:
2400 calories??? The farmer under
discussion could need 3000-3500 calories just to stabilize glucosse levels and
maintain strength! Workable percentage? Carbs,65% calories, protein, 20%
calories, fat, 15% calories. On 3000 calories, that would be 475 gm carbs, 150
gm protein, 50 gm fat. Note: carbs are best consumed on an ongoing basis. Just a
thought.

There is alot of other people out here,

government can help all these other nations and poor sick people, but what do
they do for the homeless and sick here. Look around they are everywhere, that
includes your town.
