Poll here! What is safe
blood sugar range docs are urging here? I know this varies by individual! But it
will be a good way to find out what is being said now. Thank you in advance.

Sam! RE Type 2: Overweight? yes!
Exercise? Minimal! Testing? Rarely! Death wish? Not sure! Diet from Hell?
Absolutely! Diabetes pill? Maximum dosage! I think it is more self delusion than
anything else. From experience, we both know that we can feel great with a sugar
level of 200! The point? Test, test, test! Another question, how would a
consistent BG of 200 translate into AiC level? 10? 11? 12?

Squats...so many factors on the
type 2. Overweight? Exercise? Not checking? Death wish? Depression sometimes
goes with type 2...but the diet sounds from hell. My Mom died of this. Her eyes
& kidneys went, and she didn't test much. To test is to know where you are.
That's it. This person..are they on a diabetes pill? Being a type 1, I can only
speculate, you know.

Sam: I am on Lantus already.
along with Novalog. I have a question for you: What would you say to a type 2
whose sugars run 200-250 all the time? Allegedly, the doctor thinks that is
ok!!! BTW, the individual eats regular pies, regular pancake syrup, and rarely
tests! Just curious. Thanks

Hi, Squats...I
still read, but don't write much. Thank you for writing!!! Also...have you ever
tried Lantus insulin? For me, it lasts 18 hours instead of 24, but it does work!
Nice to sleep without the insulin pump. I use Novolog as a bolus with Lantus.
Humalog works also, but you cannot mix the insulins. It's the 6 hours I need to
cover. I am trying different things..the Mayo Clinic..told me anything I can do
to keep regular sugars..and Lantus is a new step for me. Have a good weekend,
all.

What does "yammer" mean?
Unrelated to coherency, intelligence, maturity, concern for others with serious
questions (cf. Maria's question), diabetes, health, diet, exercise. Know what,
we do not need this stupidity here!!!!!!!! Why don't you be stupid somewhere
else? You will not listen, because you are an inane, unthinking mental
retard!!!!!! Yammer, indeed. No help for anybody, no counsel, no information, no
sentences...So, you see Maria's question is chatter or a whimper...same for my
answer, I guess. Hmm, is there a website called "flamediabetics.com"? You ought
to start one by that name.
