the food pyramid produces obesity in many and the RDA's are insufficient for
Diabetics. Vitamins such as A and C need to be increased in order to beef up the
immune system. Furthermore, antioxidants also should be increased to diminish
damage by "free radicals", which are more prevalent in diabetics. My last point
is the most important: Where does the Federal Gov't get the authority to
recommend diets? Private sources are more trustworthy. My experience backs up
what I have just posted.
