thing. It has to do with too much heat exposure. Diabetics circulation isn't the
greatest as a rule, so the excess heat exposure is a problem. Ask your Diabetes
Educator or Dr. about problems regarding heat exposure, ie; hot tubs etc. Connie

long history of caring for fellow-citizens. Human life means something here, so
do not worry!!! If it will make you feel better, stock up on pump supplies and
the medications you take. I have never read of diabetic Americans not being able

Depression happens too..T.K.'s eventual fate is part of my depression. I did
know him at one time, and his advice on transplants to you was real. From the
heart, even. I know...I should be gone, but I read this once in awhile. I can't
paint, or look ahead, so...anyone without a close family, may feel the same. I
have lost weight, have to keep lowering my basal amount on the insulin pump. On

interest from UPI via COMTEX: A vitamin derivative prescribed in Germany to
treat nerve problems also appears to reduce the risk of blindness, kidney
problems and limb amputation due to diabetes, a study released Monday concludes.
Researchers led by Dr. Micheal Brownlee of Albert Einstein College of Medicine
studied a substance called benfotiamine in rats. Benfotiamine is a synthetic
derivative of thiamine, also known as viamin B-1, which is found in fish, meat,
peanuts, peas and wheat germ. Diabetic rats were treated with benfotiamine and
compared to animals left untreated and a diabetes-free group. The rats receiving
no treatment developed diabetic retinopathy within nine months... The eye tissue
in the untreated rats remained as healthy as in rats that did not have diabetes.
The benfotiamine "served as a roadblock or a detour" to glucose molecules that
could have damaged blood vessels" Brownlee told UPI. Let's hope that more
research is done on this. The release does say it is unknown how much of this
would be needed in humans. If complications could be stopped in their progress,

Hosp with liver and colon cancer. He said that while he is not on much I could
list this. Has a person that is going to give him care 24/7. I know alot of you
disliked Tom but he had much info on transplants and did offer it on here.
