Children are my number 1 priority. It took a while to work through the what if's
with the diabetes, but I can't predict the future, so why make decisions based
on what may happen. I am pretty excited about it, I just needed to be ready. So
what if it took a few more years then I thought, it will have been worth the
wait. You know there are so many good things that could come from stem cells if
people can get past the misconception that the only way to get them is from
abortion. We know scientifically it is the way to go, we just need to look at
ways that are morally acceptable. Me personally, I think if there are going to
be abortions, then make something good from it. But that is such a sensitive
subject that tests the deep beliefs of many, one that I do not share but can
respect. Either way, SCR is a must for progress and if we can generate stem

Speaking of stem cells, my nephew who was paralyzed in a motorcycle accident
a couple of years ago, is going to the Ukraine this month, to receive about
three injections of stem cells. BTW, they do not come from aborted babies, they
come from the cord from the placenta. I wish him well! Hope this works for
him.

with me had surgery on a foot. She had gone outside w/o shoes and stepped on a
rock, she didn't know it, and when she put her socks and shoes on, she preceded
to walk on it all day long. That evening when she pulled her shoe off, she
discovered her sock was soaked in blood.
This wasn't the first time something like this had happened to her. While she
was in the hospital, they were constantly telling her not to walk on that foot,
and use her cruthes. She just wouldn't listen to them. I wouldn't be surprised
if by now she hasn't lost that foot or even a leg. Her legs also looked like the
guy you saw.
Marc and Squats, thanks for the advice. I had the same problem with my other
shoulder. Finally, in 95 they operated on it. I do not want to go through that
again. I don't know about you Marc, put for me it wasn't a picnic.
Oops, I just checked my BG level, two hours after eating! It's 590. And I
feel fine!! On to a sliding scale and uping my basal rates, like Marc
suggested!

His remaining leg had rather ugly bluish black blotches. Knowing me, I would
have gone to the doc as soon as they started! Those were hideous! It was an
