Of the last 8 posts, only the

Ap's, at least not those who post below.

Knowing some of the anti-.... on
this board I will secularize what I will say. Diabetes can stab you despite the
best of self care. Yes, even if you bodybuild. The key is, do the best you can
and as MUCH as you can, with a positive attitude.

RE Diabetic problems. I try to
maintain good control, get necessary tests and deal with problems as they come
up. For example, I have mild neuropathy in the feet. So I inspect them daily,
don't walk barefoot, use lotion on them, all to avoid diabetic ulcers. I used to
have chronic cellulitis, but have not had it for some time. If someone asks
about one of these difficulties, I will respond. At the same time, there is
something to be said for NOT thinking yourself into being an invalid!

Squats, has nothing to do with being sex
oriented, don't you watch the TV or read about diabetic problems other that food
? Did not mean to embarass you....you might just find a woman someday and be in
the same boat..huh ?

Since I do not compete, Mr.
Dillett's comments on training would not apply.

This is not a sex oriented board,
although problems with love life do come up. I am aware of ED. I do not know
what precentage of diabetic men have it. As for Paul Dillett, he was joking in
his interview. I would not take him seriously! BTW, I am very rarely at
getbig.com.

Squats, well, some of are still
intrested in sex even if you're not, don't you know by now that ED is one of the
most common problems with diabetic men ? So what if I misspelled it, you know
what I'm talking about....I read this on Getbig.com said by one of your
buddies.. all I was asking you is if is true, so don't be so sacarstic.

My point was connecting Metr-x,
misspelled metax and vibrating muscles was silly. Who is going to be helped by
this nonsense that borders on misinformation? No one!

Nothing funny about it, I will get some
if it does....do you know what Viagra costs ? Almost 22.00 a pill on the
internet...Metax must be alot less....so how about it Squats, does it ?

On a local all news radio
station, The FDA is looking into either Metabolite or Metabolife (not sure
which!) for lack of sufficient warnings concerning Ephedra. Both are touted as
fat loss products. METR-X IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE WARNING. I am glad I heard the
warning myself.

Ed: did you have any strange
sensations immediately prior to your diagnosis with hypothyroism? Like shaking,
rapid heart beat, dizziness, muscles vibrating and in overall symptoms identical
to hypoglycemia, esp when you're lying down?

Bike Riding
and Diabetes: Looked at some of the posts. I have noticed that riding my bike

WARNING-Synthroid enhances diabetes. My psychiatrist saw I had an out of
range TSH reading (hypothyrodism)(am on depakote and lithium). Before, I had
normal readings during the day and upon waking was normal <109. Now, my
reeadings are 140 or 161 this morning. After eating and taking metformin, they
shoot past 200. Called my pscyhiatrist today and I'm off synthroid-feet started
to burn. It is imperative that diabtes be regulated by an endocronoloigst not by
any other doctor. Checked the net and saw synthroid interefes with glucose
burning in the blood. Ed
